Anxiety is similar to fear
Fear is a feeling that we are in danger, either from others or from an object, animal, place or situation. When we perceive a danger our body reacts by releasing chemicals, Cortisol, and adrenalin, to prepare us to take action. Cortisol (a glucocorticoid) is the body's chief stress fighting hormone, and is produced by the adrenal gland. Cortisol is high during periods of stress, and low when relaxing.

It’s very important to see a medical professional and have tests: Suzette from the USA wrote
I was diagnosed with panic attacks and anxiety last year and put on a medication rollercoaster. God led me to material that made me question that diagnosis. I found that my problems where medication related. I was being overperscribed with the estrogen replacement drug Premarin.
Panic attacks and anxiety is an easy diagnosis for doctors that do not have a clue what is wrong. Panic attacks are real and awful, but the reason for them needs to be PROPERLY diagnosed and treated. I felt totally crazy, suicidal, and questioning God. When I handed it over to God, he led me to the answers in my situation. My hormone and thryroid levels revealed that my estrogen was way high, pogesterone way low, and my thyroid level was bouncing around. And yes, men can have hormonal imbalances as well.
I am free of anxiety and panic and back to my normal life. I am free of all the anxiety medications and I am on a natural form of hormones. My levels are being monotored regularly.
